Muriel Goudet
Background
Muriel has lived in the Bournemouth area for the past 14 years, and for the last six years has called this Town Council ward her home. She is a mum to two children, who both grew up here and attend school locally. Muriel understands the issues facing our area because she lives them too.
Experience
Muriel currently works in the social housing sector. She previously worked as a support worker, helping people in supported accommodation build confidence and independence. She is passionate about helping those in our community who need it most. She has also worked as a librarian, giving her a strong appreciation for the vital role our local libraries and community spaces play in bringing residents together. Muriel is standing up for these shared spaces and wants to fight to protect and strengthen local services for everyone.
Community & Interests
Muriel has previously volunteered with The Factory Space, a hub for local arts, supporting creativity and community connection. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dog Mica in King’s Park, spending time with her family, and supporting local businesses.
Victoria Taylor
Background
Victoria has lived in Bournemouth since the age of 17 and her daughter has grown up here, attending local schools. Having built her life here, Victoria understands the importance of our local services and our vital community spaces.
Experience
As a personal assistant working for a financial advisor, Victoria understands that attention to detail and caring for clients is very important. Victoria will bring that same care and attention to the new Town Council making sure Littledown & Iford gets the best deal it can. Victoria is active within the community. She volunteers weekly with the Trussell Trust and supports local foodbanks through fundraising and food collections, working to ensure no one in our community goes hungry. She also regularly gets involved in local initiatives such as the Park Run and Remembrance Day. She has served on her child’s primary school PTA, helping secure sponsorship and raffle prizes.
Community & Interests
Victoria is a keen runner and an active member of Littledown Harriers Running Club. She recently completed a half marathon in aid of Children with Cancer. She enjoys getting involved and supporting local events.
