Gillian Pardy
Background
Gill has deep roots in Bournemouth, with six generations of her family having lived in the area, from her great grandfather through to her grandchildren. Her great grandparents were born in the old Springbourne area, which is now coming back into the ward following the reorganisation for the Town Council elections.
Gill has raised her family locally, with two of her children educated at St Andrew's C of E School before going on to Bethany School. Both were confirmed at St Clement's Church.
Experience
She began her career in the Civil Service and went on to become the first member of staff at Moordown Community Centre. It is a role she thoroughly enjoyed, working alongside a dedicated team of volunteers. Gill is a strong believer in the importance of volunteers, recognising them as the backbone of our community and something we should all be grateful for.
Community & Interests
With strong local ties and a genuine commitment to community life, Gill brings experience, dedication and a strong sense of local pride.
