Millie is the Leader of BCP Council and represents Newtown & Heatherlands as a Councillor.
She was born on Ashley Road, grew up in the ward and now lives on Fortescue Road with her partner and their rescue dog, Cassie.
Proud to call this part of Poole home, she has strong roots in Newtown & Heatherlands and cares deeply about protecting the environment, supporting local projects and works to make sure our area is a great place to live.
Millie founded the Branksome & Rossmore Community Fridge project, redistributing surplus food through local libraries and saving around three tonnes of food from landfill every month. She leads the Ashley Road “Win On Waste” recycling scheme and volunteers locally at Turner's Nursery.
Millie also set up and chairs the Parkstone Community Group, organising the annual Christmas event and supporting local businesses and community projects. Millie regularly helps local organisations with fundraising, grant applications and community initiatives.
Millie is committed to protecting green spaces and supporting community projects, including creating a local community orchard. In her spare time Millie enjoys walking Cassie along the beach and spending time at Bourne Valley and the Branksome Rec.
