Emily lives in Poole with her three children who attend local schools. Emily has served as a councillor for Parkstone for the past three years, working hard to stand up for local residents and support the  community. 

She has previously worked as a teacher and home educator, giving her first-hand experience of the challenges facing local families. Emily has a strong record of action. She has volunteered with youth clubs, the Cubs, has been a member of school PTAs and supports her children’s football teams. She can often be found out and about in Parkstone, litter picking and reporting local issues. 

Emily also enjoys guerrilla gardening, helping keep the community clean and green. Emily has also worked in fraud prevention, retail and hospitality, bringing a practical, positive approach to solving problems. 

In her spare time, enjoys being active locally with her children, exploring local parks, cycling and playing football. She is an avid  reader and passionate supporter of local libraries.
