Lib Dems Surge in Local Elections


Liberal Democrats across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch are celebrating a string of successes in the local elections of 2nd May.

Liberal Democrats from all three areas of the conurbation gained seats on the new BCP Council as the Tories lost 33 seats.

With the Liberal Democrats now occupying 15 seats on the new authority the party is the largest non-Tory group on the council which is has been transformed form a Tory "one-party state" to no overall control. The full run-down of seats is as follows;-
