Labour splits over Corbyn-led extremism

At a press conference in London today, seven members of the Parliamentary Labour Party split from Jeremy Corbyn's Labour. Amongst other reasons they cited institutional anti-semitism within the party, a bullying culture and Jeremy Corbyn's failure to stand up for the United Kingdom's best interests by opposing Brexit.

Here at Bournemouth Liberal Democrats we would like to extend a hand of firendship to local Labour Party members who feel the same way as those break-away MPs. From the outside it has been clear to us for some time that Jeremy Corbyn has led their party away from the social democratic centre-ground, much of which they have traditionally shared with our party.

If you feel that the Labour Party has deserted you, join us. Come and help us to promote those progressive values we share, and help us to fight Brexit. You will be most welcome.
