The Liberal Democrats want to say 'thank you' to everyone who supported the Party on May 3rd.

'There is no doubt that this has been a very difficult night for the Liberal Democrats here in Bournemouth,' says Andrew Garratt, Chair of Bournemouth Liberal Democrats.

'We leave the Council in far better shape than we inherited it four years ago. We have taken the difficult decisions to point Bournemouth in the right direction.

'It remains to be seen if the new Conservative administration will try to reverse this and undermine the progress we have made.

'They have attacked the Liberal Democrats but said very little about their own plans.

'From now on they have the responsibility, but the Liberal Democrats will ensure they are held firmly to account for every decision.'
