Winter Gardens must go for luxury flats, say Tories

10.42.31pm UTC (GMT +0000) Tue 1st May 2007

LOCAL PEOPLE will have nothing to look forward to on the Winter Gardens if the Conservatives win back power.

The Tories say they want voters to back them so they can tear up Lib Dem plans for facilities that are real alternatives to pubs and nightclubs.

Conservative candidates have failed to explain how luxury flats will make the town centre more attractive for residents and visitors.
