This is a chance for voters in Bournemouth to change direction of the country

Parliament has today approved Theresa May's call for a snap General Election to be held on the 8th June.

Liberal Democrats in Bournemouth commented:

“This election is a huge opportunity for voters in both Bournemouth constituencies to change the direction of our country and ensure Britain has a decent opposition.

“A small majorty of people in Bournemouth may have voted to leave the EU, but many did not vote for the extreme form of Brexit that Theresa May has imposed on us after being backed by Labour.

“For all those who want to protect our local economy by staying in the Single Market and ensure the people have the final say over what comes next, this is your chance.

“The Liberal Democrats are the real opposition to the Conservative Brexit Government and the only party fighting for a Britain that is open, tolerant and united.”

The only way you can win in either constituency is by uniting with the Labour Party and The Greens to field a United Front candidate. Check the history. Tories all the way as far back as you can go. We all want fully funded schools, NHS and social care. We all want affordable housing and real living wages. Are you going to stand there in the early hours of 9 June and watch Tobias Ellwood and Conor Burns steal these constituencies yet again on a mere 26% of the electorate? Time for a change. Sign the petition for United |front candidates in bournemouth West and Bournemouth East.
